2007: Produced an 11-9 record in 31 appearances...Had a 2.57 ERA while pitching two shutouts and fanning 81 batters...Was 6-4 in league games with a 2.43 ERA, one shutout, and no home runs...Only gave up four home runs and 52 earned runs...Was named to the All-Tournament Team at the Buzz Classic...Tied for sixth in the CAA in wins...Was seventh in the league in appearances.

 

2006: Pitched 114 innings fanning 92 batters...Led GPC on the mound...Finished with a 10-0 conference record and was 12-5-2 overall...Named to the All-Region team.

 

2005: Won seven of 15 games for the Lady Jaguars of Georgia Perimeter College (GPC)...In 117 innings, recorded a 1.63 ERA, 89 strikeouts and 30 earned runs.

 

Prep: Earned three letters in softball for the Eastside Eagles...Coached by Pete Nattice...Received the Diamond Eagle award...Most memorable moment was breaking Eastside’s strikeout record...Was Pitcher of the Year.

 

Personal: Daughter of Gregg and Evon Cowan...Has a younger sister Brittany...Enjoys playing ball, hanging out with friends and family...Favorite athlete is Jeff Francoeur of the Atlanta Braves...Inspired by her parents...Career goals are to be a great physical education teacher and become a coach...Chose Georgia State for a good education and a good softball team...Majoring in physical education.
