Biography
Kelcey Roegiers-Jensen is in her second season on the basketball staff after her four-year playing career at GSU.
A 2007 graduate of Georgia State, Roegiers-Jensen had been a two-time All-CAA player for Coach Henry and went on to play professionally in Sweden.
She is currently working towards her master’s degree at Georgia State.
As a senior, Roegiers-Jensen was fifth in the nation in assists (6.6) and 39th in the nation in scoring (18.0) and was chosen the school’s overall Female Student-Athlete of the Year at Georgia State.
The high-scoring guard had four 30-plus point games as a senior with 33 vs. Hofstra, 32 vs. VCU, 31 vs. Towson and 30 vs. UNC Wilmington.
Roegiers-Jensen set the school record for most three-point baskets made with 154, while finishing third all-time in assists with 478 and ninth all-time in scoring with 1,360 points.
The 25-year old is a native of St. Petersburg, Fla., and was a four-time all-state pick at Boca Ciega High School.
She is the daughter of Charles Jensen and Kathy Roegiers. She has an older sister, Lexi, and a younger brother, Zack.
