Earned his first collegiate victory in 10-6, come-from-behind win at Mercer (3-30-16). Entered the game in the eighth inning, two outs and on and GSU trailing by one. He struck out All-American Kyle Lewis to end the eighth, and after GSU regained the lead in the ninth, he finished the game with a scoreless bottom of the ninth ... Pitched one scoreless inning in a combined shutout of Coppin State (2-27-16) ... Made his debut with 1.1 scoreless innings vs. VCU (2-20-16) ... Struck out three in two scoreless innings vs. Arkansas State (3-18-16).

HIGH SCHOOL: Missed his senior season due to injury ... Two-time All-Region 8-AAA, including first-team honors in 2014, by the Athens Banner-Herald, which also tabbed him honorable mention All-Northeast Georgia in 2014 … 2014 Perfect Game Underclass All-American (honorable mention) … Posted a 5-1 record with a 2.14 ERA and 67 strikeouts in 49 innings as a junior … Helped Oconee County High School reach the state playoffs in Class AAA in 2012, 2014 and 2015, when they reached the quarterfinals … First varsity win was a five-inning perfect game with six strikeouts as a freshman … Coached by Stan Fricks … Played travel baseball for Team Elite.
