Started her first season strong, earning CAA Rookie-of-the-Week honors after scoring 29 kills in the opening tournament of the season, the Georgia Bulldog Invitational ... Scored a season-high 15 kills on just two errors (.481 attack percentage) against James Madison on 10/12 ... Scored 12 kills on just 19 attempts in the Panther opening match of the season against Furman ... Finished the season with five double-digit kill performances ... Finished third on the team with 157 kills, a 1.85 kills per set average ... Scored a season-high seven digs in the Panthers CAA opener against Delaware on 9/26 ... Scored 31 totals blocks on the season, including a season-high five block assists at UNC Wilmington.

High School
Earned three letters for Becky Bevans’ Brahmas ... She helped Diamond Bar High reach the CIF playoff each year on the varsity roster, as the team posted a combined 60-36-1 (.624) record during that stretch and made playoffs all three years... Named San Gabriel Valley Tribune All-Inland Valley Player of the Year after her senior season when she tallied a .339 hitting percentage and .513 kill percentage ... Also earned First Team All-Sierra League honors three times...Her 25-kill, eight-block performance enabled team to earn bid into the C.I.F. playoffs...She was named to four All-Tournament teams during her career.

Victoria Nicole Brown is the only daughter of the four children of Troy and Julie Brown ... She was born on Oct. 15, 1990, in Riverside, Calif., but grew up in Diamond Bar, a city 30 miles east of Los Angeles in the San Gabriel Valley... Her older brother Gary (20) was selected by the Oakland Athletics in the 2007 MLB First-Year Player Draft, but has opted to play at Cal State Fullerton, a school with 29 NCAA appearances... She has two other brothers (Dustin, 22; Gabriel, 14, a soccer player) ... The California native loves swimming and the beach...Her high school has turned out pro baseball player Jim Edmonds, NBA player Keith Van Horn and NFL player Jason Wright...Selected Georgia State over western schools Cal State Fullerton, Pepperdine, UC Irvine, San Francisco and UNLV because she found out she loves Atlanta ... She has not declared a major, but is leaning toward communications as being a sports broadcaster or TV reporter is a strong interest.
