High School: Earned First Team All-District and District 12-5A Defensive Player of the Year honors during her senior season at Rockwall High...Served as captain her senior year when team went 11-1 in district play and 27-5 overall, winning the district championship for the first time in school history...Lettered for three seasons in volleyball and also earned one letter in track...Had 347 kills and 427 digs as a senior, with 341 digs and 231 kills as a junior...She was named her team's offensive best player and also received the Jessica Shaw Award, an honor given to a teammate who passed away...Played two seasons for High Performance Volleyball club in Dallas.
Personal: Born on June 13, 1988, Audrey is the daughter of Bobby and Vicky Cantrell...Her father was a good high school baseball player, but did not go on to play at the college level, so Audrey holds the distinction of being the first in the family to go to college...She received recruiting interest from UNLV, Florida Atlantic and Rockhurst (Kan)...Hailing from a suburb of Dallas, her favorite athlete is fellow Texan, cyclist Lance Armstrong...Enjoys free time on a lake and tubing...Majoring in exercise science with a goal to become a physical therapist...Would love to work with one of her favorite pro teams, the Dallas Stars or the Dallas Mavericks.
