2006: Made 23 appearances, the second-most on the club...Went 0-2 on the season, including one start...Struck out 16 batters...Pitched two innings and gave up two hits while striking out one in first collegiate appearance (2/16)...Went two innings in relief against Old Dominion, giving up just one hit while fanning two batters (3/17)...Pitched 1.1 innings in series with James Madison, giving up one hit and striking out one batter (4/28 and 4/30)...Pitched three hitless innings, striking out a career-high three batters in State’s win over Samford (5/9)...Had only 13 walks in 29.1 innings of work for the season.

Prep: Carder played baseball for the Rebels of Fannin County High School...Helped lead Coach David Lunsford’s squad to two State Playoff appearances.

Personal: Dustin was born on February 2, 1987 in Atlanta, Georgia. He is the son of Doyle and Caroline Carder, and has one brother, D.J., and one sister, Amber.
