HIGH SCHOOL: All-state selection at Mount Vernon Presbyterian in the Atlanta area, which he helped to the 2024 Class A state title ... Averaged 12 points, seven rebounds and one block per game ... Selected to play in the 50th Annual Capitol Classic all-star game.

PERSONAL: Son of long-time NBA sharp-shooter Dennis Scott, who starred in college at Georgia Tech and is currently a television commentator ... The elder Scott was the 1990 Atlantic Coast Conference Player of the Year and first-round draft pick of the Orlando Magic, where he set NBA records (since broken) for most 3-pointers in a game (11 on April 18, 1996) and season (267 in 1995-96).
