2020
Led the team in hitting at .258 and started all 23 games… Also led team with 12 RBI ranked second in both home runs (2) and doubles (4)… Went 3-for-3 vs. Illinois State with four RBI and a double Feb. 8… Hit home runs against Akron and Bryant… Went 1-for-2 with a pair of RBI in GSU’s Sun Belt win over Texas State March 7.
2019
Led the team in batting average, slugging percentage, on-base percentage, hits, RBI, doubles, total bases, at-bats and total put outs (297) in 2019 as a redshirt sophomore… She was second on the team in walks… Ray hit .305 with 16 doubles, two home runs, and 23 RBI… She hit .326 in conference play and nine of her 16 doubles… Had 12 multi-hit games including a 3-for-4 performance against Fordham on March 2 and a 2-for-4 performance along with 5 RBI against ULM on April 26.
2018
In first full season after redshirt year, Ray played in 35 games and made 19 starts… Hit. 222 with a home run, triple, three doubles, and nine RBI… Hit her first career home run March 3 against Detroit.
2017
Redshirted her freshman season.
Prep
Ray went to Eastside High School where she was a four-year starter... During her high school career she was a pitcher and during her senior year her team won 22 games and came up one victory short of making the Georgia High School Association Elite 8... Her awards included making first-team all-region three years and twice capturing her high school's team Offensive Awards... She was also selected by the Georgia Dugout Club to their Elite 80 squad... During her recently completed senior year she had 18 wins in the pitching circle to go along with a .603 batting average that included 5 home runs, 22 doubles, 4 triples, and 25 RBI... She played travel ball with the Worth Cobras where she earned numerous national scouting services camp invites, including East Coast National, On Deck Softball, and Scout Softball.
