Bethany Fortson, a proud native of Hull, GA, began her journey at Georgia State University in the fall of 2023, pursuing a master's degree in sport administration. She currently serves as a Graduate Assistant for the Women's Basketball team, focusing on player development with an emphasis on community service and the holistic growth of student-athletes.
Before joining the staff at Georgia State, Bethany completed a distinguished academic and leadership career at Kennesaw State University, where she earned a degree in exercise science with a minor in nutritional science in May 2023. During her time at KSU, she served as the Student Body President, showcasing her commitment to leadership and service.
Bethany’s background is rooted in a deep passion for health and wellness, and she is dedicated to leveraging her expertise to make a meaningful impact on the student-athletes she mentors.
