In her last match in a Panther uniform, scored a double-double of 12 kills and 10 digs against William & Mary (11/15), tying a career high for kills in match. Earned the CAA Commissioner's Academic Award every year and was named to one all-tournament team (2006 Seahawk Invitational).
2009
In her final season, finished third on the team with 179 kills, a 1.61 kills per set average...Scored a nearly perfect match against Navy (9/18), finishing with 10 kills and zero errors for a .588 hitting percentage...Finished with 11 kills and just two errors, along with nine digs and seven total blocks in the Panthers three-set win over in-state rival Mercer on 10/20...Scored 37 service aces, including three in a match on four occasions...Her 63 total blocks were the second most on the team and included three matches of five or more...Finished in double-digit digs on six occasions, including a season-high 15 at UNC Wilmington on 10/24...Earned the CAA Commissioner's Academic Award for the fourth straight year.

High School
Waldern lettered for four years in volleyball and three years in soccer at Penticton Secondary...Named to the All-Star team at the provincial tournament, as well as receiving Team MVP honors for senior girls volleyball in 11th and 12th grade...During the 2005 season, Waldern's Laker team went 10-0 in league play, finishing 5th at provincials...In the Provincials, the team defeated the second, third, fourth and fifth-seeded teams along the way to their impressive finish.

Born on Aug. 19, 1988, Jocelyn Anne Waldern is the daughter of Bob and Heather Waldern...She has an older sister (Jennine, 24)...She is the sixth Canadian to play volleyball for the Panthers since 1998...Currently majoring in biology.
