ATLANTA – Georgia State (8-12) split with Brown (2-5) on Saturday afternoon in a doubleheader. Originally scheduled for Friday afternoon, due to the rain, the doubleheader was moved to the next day.

Chloe Nadler went three for six and accumulated three runs and three rbis. She hit a double and a solo home run in the win over Brown, her fifth homer of the season.
Game 1: Brown 5 – GSU 1
The Panthers struggled at the plate only earning three hits and one run against Brown.
Brown scored five runs off six hits and only left five on base.
Bailee Richardson hit a solo home run in the bottom of the seventh, but it wasn't enough for the Panthers who were down four.
Emily Hodnett pitched a complete game and ended with the loss dropping 3-7.
Game 2: GSU 8 – Brown 0
The Panthers rattled off 10 hits in the run-rule win over Brown. Four of those hits came in the first inning where the Panthers scored four runs.
Emily Brown started it off by getting walked and stole second to score on
Ashton Schroyer's single. Schroyer scored on a double by Nadler after stealing second. The Panthers would score two more runs off of singles.
For the next three innings nothing would happen for either team but Brown was close to scoring in the top of the fourth when bases were loaded and no outs. Doolittle came in to relieve
Hallie Adams and struck out two batters and forced a fly to end the inning.
Jackie Gonzalez slammed her first home run of the season bringing in three more runs for the Panthers in the bottom of the fifth.
To seal the deal early Nadler came up huge in the sixth and smashed a walk off home run to end the game.
Elle Doolittle earned the win after relieving in the fourth and improved to 3-1 on the season.
