MONROE, LA -- Georgia State (17-32, 6-15 Sun Belt) dropped the series to ULM (24-28, 7-14 Sun Belt). The Warhawks swept the Panthers in their senior weekend at home.
 
Saturday's game was suspended in the bottom of fourth due to the weather and resumed on Sunday at noon.
 
The Panthers were down 1-0 in the fourth before the rain delay and suspension of the game. As the game resumed the next day nothing was added for either team and ULM took the victory.
 
In the final game of the series, the Panthers were down 2-0 with two runners on base as Chloe Middlebrooks singled to left field and would score Emma Yanes and Emily Brown to tie up the game.
 
The Warhawks scored four more runs, two in the third and two more in the sixth to stretch the lead, 6-2.
 
Emily Hodnett (5-12) started in both games giving up seven walks and 12 hits to tally both losses.
 
The Panthers will return home on Thursday, May 4 for the final series of the regular season against Southern Mississippi. Senior Day is set for Saturday at noon.
