ATLANTA, -- Georgia State trailed Chattanooga 1-0 at halftime, but two second-half goals from Bree Barley and Sunniyah Tucker helped the Panthers secure the draw.
How it Happened
Chattanooga started the scoring when Caroline Richvalsky scored in the 18th minute, assisted by Zoey Mize.
The Panthers leveled the match on a goal from Sunniyah Tucker -- her first career goal -- in the 46th minute, assisted by Bree Barley.
Georgia State then went ahead 2-1 on Barley's 84th-minute goal, her first of the season. Elena Diaz assisted the goal.
The Mocs fired back to knot things up at 2-2 with an 88th-minute penalty kick goal from Clarissa Salinas. The 2-2 score held to the end of the game.
Game Notes
- Jaddah Foos piled up three saves for the Panthers out of 11 total Mocs shots.
- Georgia State recorded five shots on goal.
The draw moved Georgia St.'s record to 0-0-1 overall.
The Panthers will return to the pitch on Thursday, Aug. 22, for a road match against SEC foe Ole Miss.
